I was busy over the weekend getting my girl to be ready for her Kindergarten life that will start very soon. I even forgot to post about my newest collab with Kathy of Brine Designs ((sigh)).

So here you go!

I love the colors in this kit. It makes me feel fresh every time I look at it and this is the first time I team up with Kathy or you might know as Brine Designs, and I bet you'll see more collabs from us soon. I just need to organized things a bit. My life right now is a little hectic trying to get things go smoothly as I can.

New Collab with Ldrag Designs and a freebie

Today I've got a brand new kit in my store. It's a collab with one of my best friend, Lina of Ldrag Designs. This is our third collaboration already and this time we made a baby theme kit. I know that it will be one of my favorite kit but never thought that it would turn out to be so gorgeous like this. I really like this kit!

Yari of Jady Day Studio has just released a new kit and it's one of the stinkin' CUTE kit I've ever seen.

SPRING INTO EASTER, is a perfect kit for all your easter's pics with all the cute animals and soft colors.

Here's my page with the kit. I don't have any Easter Pic, so I use a picture of my hubby and dd when we went to the park last week.

Suzanne of Roadside Designs also release a new template pack called, Road Map Collection 3. They are available in two sizes, 12 x 12 inches and 8.5 x 11 inches. Her templates are very easy to use, and you can also add your own style in it.

After nearly two years of designing, I've hardly scrap and I really miss it so much. I've applied for a few CT Calls lately and have been accepted by two lovely designers. One is a template designer, Christy Haig Creations at Sunshine Studio Scraps. The second is Yari of Jady Day Studio at ScrapMatters.

A re-release, So Peach Bundle and Peach Blossom Paper Pack

I still have a few kits that was first release at my previous shop and I haven't brought it to my FPD shop yet after been exclusive. It's because I was busy with my guesting at Scrapable and Mscraps. Now I'm free once again. So it's time to get those kits into their home at FPD.

For this week, I've re-released one of my favorite bundle and a coordinated paper pack, So Peach Bundle and Peach Blossom Paper Pack. These two were first released at Twolittlepixels and was one of my first Personal Use Grab Bag.

I've always wanted to make a kit with a peachy palette. Those colors come from one of my barbies. She wears a peach dress and even have a peach scented hair. She's still with me sitting in a nice glass shelf at my mom's house.

I've brought this bundle with me to Mscraps as well.

If you love all you've seen, I've put these in a bundle as well, and here's another coordinated paper pack which is sold separately.

Hello wonderful Siamese Studio fans, my name is Sarah and I have just joined May's team. I feel so lucky to work with such wonderful people in the digi-scrap world.

I am a mom to three children, a photographer and a Sign Language interpreter. I have been paper scrapbooking for years, but put all my stuff away in order to focus on school and get my degree. After I graduated in 2007, I just couldn't find my mojo again. Then, I remembered all the digi stuff I had been collecting and decided to dive into the digi-world. That's where my inspiration had been lurking!! I love to participate in challenges, join in chats and "meet" new friends in this wonderful world of digi.

I am guesting at Scrapable for January. This is my first time guesting at other stores, and it is really exciting. It's nice to meet new people, and make new friends, and for this occasion I have a brand new kit releasing at my guest store. It's a feminine kit with lots of flowers. My Saturday here in Bangkok is ending soon because it is already 4.30 pm. My little girl is still asleep but soon I will have to wake her. I've planned to cook some red curry with pork and pumpkin, omelet (yes, we Thais eat omelet in the evening, hi hi), and may be some stir-fried veggies.

I'm taking charge of the cooking in the house since my in-law is in hospital. She felt over while walking. She didn't brake her leg but there were some bruise inside. She also has diabetes, so that bruise is getting worse.

We are now hoping that she'll get well soon.

I've been thinking of expanding my fans on FB Fanpage and Twitter Followers since I've moved to FPD, but never made any move on it. The plan was sitting silently in my head waiting for my action

I'm not going to wait anymore! So here am I, posting this to ask for your help!

I'll start with my FB Fanpage first. At the moment, I've got 155 likes on my FB Fanpage but I would love to get more and more likes which I'll need your help by spreading the news (Of cause you'll have to 'like' me first before spreading the news and be on the draw for a lucky winner).

So here we go!

Staycation Blogtrain - Little Artist Mini Kit

I have a HUGE freebie for you today!

Today I've re-released my first collaboration kit, COOL WINTER at my Twolittlepixels shoppe. This kit was released last year and after changing my design name I kept it until now.

When I first known digi-world, there were several stores that I love to visit and one of those is Twolittlepixels. At that time I don't have much budget to spend on scrap kits but I still bought some stuff from their stores.

I've dig through my inbox and found the very first invoice of what I've purchased from the store. It was Pretty Bella kit by Ksharondesigns and Afternoon Cha by Creashens. Since then I'm one of the fans of these two designers as well as Twolittlepixels.

I've dreamed that one day I would be a designer at Twolittlepixels, and that day has come true.

YES! I'm designing for TWOLITTLEPIXELS!!!

Sea of Love, New Paper Pack @ FPD

I'm sorry if I've been absent for the past couple weeks. There were several things happening to me, but the most that disappointed me so much was the situation in Bangkok, Thailand where I live as you might have heard some news about the Protesters or what we called the red shirts.

Yesterday was the worst day in our history after the crack down in Bangkok. We are under curfew til now. I hope that everything will get better soon. I hope that Bangkok, most of all Thailand will have peace soon!

Sumalees Spotlight

With the new kits May has introduced this month, our Sumalees have been busy creating wonderful LOs. We're proud of them and want to introduce you to one of our May Guests: Rebecca Lovell. Rebecca is a prolific scrapper and seems to be able to zip out gorgeous pages in the blink of an eye. :) Here is some more info about Rebecca:

Some basics:
My name is Rebecca. I love in rural Iowa with my husband and our 5 children. I also have 2 adult step sons. We have a small poultry farm, where we raise free-range chickens and turkeys. We also do a lot of gardening, and sell our excess produce, eggs, meat and things I bake at our local Farmer's Market.

How did you get into digiscrapping?
I wanted to scrapbook for a long time, and had lots of supplies, but never took the time to use them. I stumbled upon a digiscrapping website while looking at a sewing blog, checked it out, and haven't looked back!

What inspires you?
My kids mostly, but music and nature also.

What one specific embellishment, color or item do you regularly use on your LOs? Flowers and foliage.

What is your best digiscrap tip?
Make pages you love, and likely others will too. Don't worry about if others are going to love it, or you will drive yourself crazy!

How do you get out of a scrapping funk (scrapper’s block)?
I take a break, and come back later.

What is your favorite Siamese Studio kit and why?
Little Monkey - because I have 5 monkeys running around my house!

What is your Favorite Siamese Studio LO you’ve made? L.U.S.H.

I'm a SAHM to one super adorable little boy who turned three last month. I'm in love with photography, so it's not uncommon to hear me bribing my child to "just look at me and smile." It seems I'm always telling him "Just one good picture and you can do..." whatever it is he wants to do.

How did you get into digiscrapping?

I got into digiscrapping because I have thousands and thousands of pictures of my son and I figured I'd better get started making his baby book now if I ever wanted to get caught up with all the pictures I have of him. But rather than just uploading them all to a photo book site, I had the crazy idea that I would learn to scrap instead.

What inspires you?

What inspires me (as far as scrapping goes) is papers. I LOVE papers. I can scrap an entire page without elements and absolutely love it as long as the papers are cute.

What one specific embellishment, color or item do you regularly use on your LOs?

My favorite color is orange, so you'll find a lot of orange in my layouts. I try not to overdue it, but if there's orange in a kit, it usually ends up on my layout. I also really love glitter spills. I think every layout could use a little bit of glitter spilled somewhere.

What is your best digiscrap tip?

My best digiscrap tip is to attend speed scraps! I absolutely love speed scraps and sometimes wonder why I scrap at all unless it's at a speed scrap. I learn so much at speed scraps and get new ideas for different ways of doing things, stuff that isn't my typical style and so I never would have done otherwise. Some of my favorite layouts have happened at speed scraps.

How do you get out of a scrapping funk (scrapper’s block)?

When I'm in a scrapping funk, I'll usually go to my favorite forums and look through the challenges. There's always something in there that will inspire me and get me excited to create again.

What is your favorite Siamese Studio kit and why?

May has so many awesome kits, it's hard to choose a favorite. I just downloaded Peacock Dreams and I am so excited to play with it. It has such beautiful papers! And I love papers.

What is your Favorite Siamese Studio LO you’ve made?

My favorite layout is the one I made with Natural Spring. I just love the feel of it. Like a soft romance that was perfect for the picture.

If you could visit Thailand (formerly Siam), what would you do and why: a)Ride an elephant, b)Eat Pad Thai or glass noodles until you popped, c)Get a famous Thai massage until your muscles were like jello or d)Shop the fabulous night markets?

If I could visit Thailand, I think I'd want to do everything. I absolutely love Thai food, a massage sounds divine right now, I love shopping, and in all honesty, I've always wanted to ride an elephant.

Jodie Leigh is another one of our April Guest CT and we're loving her combination of fabulous photos and LO design. Here is a little bit of info about this talented scrapper.

Tell us some basics about yourself – who, what, where and other fun details.

I am Jodie. I am 23 years old and I live in England with my partner of 6 years. I am a full time mummy to our 2 little rays of sunshine. We have Mia Ruby who is 4 going on 14 and Charlie Jack who has just turned 1.

How did you get into digiscrapping?

I started using photoshop around 17 months ago. I started out making forum signatures of my daughter. Then I went onto designing for different sites. I was then introduced to digiscrapping, which I love! What can be more special than being able to take those precious pictures and turn them into everlasting memories to print out and keep?

What inspires you?

I am 100% inspired by my kids' pictures. I can take a picture and know straight away how I would like to scrap it - hee hee!

What one specific embellishment, color or item do you regularly use on your LOs?

I love ribbons and bright and bold colours. But I also love the flowers and greenery. I love it all- haha!

What is your best digiscrap tip?

Choose your elements, pop them all onto your open canvas and then move them about as needed. Adding your photos last works great for me :)

How do you get out of a scrapping funk (scrapper’s block)?

I tend to take a look around the galleries at all the beautiful layouts. This usually inspires me enough to get creative. If this fails, I whip out the camera and get some more new pics of my babies - haha!

What is your favorite Siamese Studio kit and why?

My favourite kit would have to be Little Monkey. I just love the bright, bold colours and how it's so versatile that I can use it to scrap pictures of both my kiddies.

What is your Favorite Siamese Studio LO you’ve made?

My favourite layout so far would have to be 'Cheeky' which I made using Little Monkey. It can be found in my DST gallery.

If you could visit Thailand (formerly Siam), what would you do and why: a)Ride an elephant, b)Eat Pad Thai or glass noodles until you popped, c)Get a famous Thai massage until your muscles were like jello or d)Shop the fabulous night markets?

I would have to go for c, Get a famous Thai massage :) I am a girl who likes to be pampered, even if it doesn't happen often haha!

Here at Siamese Studio we have an amazing Creative Team that we call the Sumalees. Sumalee is a Thai word for beautiful flower and fits our ladies perfectly from their personalities to the LOs they create. Over the next few months, we’ll introduce you to some of these amazing ladies.

First up is one of our April Guest CTs: huguytom120 (a.k.a Stephanie)

• Tell us some basics about yourself – who, what, where and other fun details.

I’m Stephanie, a stay-at-home mom to 4 boys ranging in age from 3 to 12. I’m French and my husband Tang is Laotian so you’ll see a wonderful mix of cultures in our children and on my pages. One interesting thing about guesting here at Siamese Studio is that although my husband was born in Laos and has lived in France for a very long time, he also speaks fluent Thai from his days in a refugee camp. Pretty amazing connection, don’t you think?

• How did you get into digiscrapping?

My mother was paper scrapbooking for several years when she tried to teach me, but cutting and pasting the papers: that is not my thing. However, when I was surfing the net, I discovered the digital version and I was hooked immediately!

• What inspires you?

I find my inspiration mainly in my children. I also participate in several forums that give me inspiration and which allow me to progress.

• What one specific embellishment, color or item do you regularly use on your LOs?

In scrapbooking, my favorite colors are brown and turquoise (I also love the colors of Peacock Dreams!) and I use lots of flowers and leaves. As for ribbons….not so much. I never know where to put them. LOL!

• What is your best digiscrap tip?

I like to make cuts of paper and use them as elements in my page. It gives an impression of consistency and simplicity I find.

• How do you get out of a scrapping funk (scrapper’s block)?

When I just can't make a LO... scraplifting and templates are good solutions!!

• What is your favorite Siamese Studio kit and why?

If I had to choose just one of the newest Siamese Studio kits, I prefer the kit "Natural Spring" for its color and the presence of foliage. This kit allows all styles of pages ... but I'm waiting to discover "Peacock Dreams". It really inspires me.

• What is your Favorite Siamese Studio LO you’ve made?

Just one? That’s hard. Maybe the C&S version of my LO with my three nieces called Sisters (above).

• If you could visit Thailand (formerly Siam), what would you do and why: a)Ride an elephant, b)Eat Pad Thai or glass noodles until you popped, c)Get a famous Thai massage until your muscles were like jello or d)Shop the fabulous night markets?

Probably the first thing I'd do would be sleeping because of jet lag!!! And after I’m awake, I'd search for a SekLoso concert !!!!! My husband and all my children are fans of him. I know all his songs - no need to read lyrics- and yet I don’t understand at all what I’m singing! I just like his music. After that, I’d go shopping !!!

I've been MIA from my blog quite a long time. It's because I'm busy with starting my new novel, closing down most of my shops, and another reason is,

I'm preparing to open a brand new shop. I'm not gonna telling you now where it is because it's a secret, but if you like a little challenge. You could guess where is it and on April 1st, I'll come back with the announcement and a couple of names that I've picked up from the comments on this post guessing the store's name.

I'll give you a hint.

It's a BRAND NEW store, but no. It's not that new. The store just close down about a month ago and now it's going to re-open with a new owner, new look, and new designers.

It has been a lot of changes happening around me and also with me. First is I will have to start working soon. I'm talking about working in my real life, working for my living.

I can't handle having SIX stores if I have to go back to work. I've also learned that having many stores doesn't help with my sales, but giving me so much work to do. Especially with the store collabs and being active in the forums. So I think it's time that I have to let go some of my shops.

It's time for 'CHANGE'

I thought about changing my design name for a long time but always give up when list of works that I'll have to do pops in my head. It is really a hard work. I have to change all the previews of my previous kit, make a new blog, new banner, blinkie etc.

There are lots of things to do and just thinking of it makes me tired already, but I could never stop thinking of changing my design name. It keeps coming into my mind once a while until I think it's time for a real change, and that is when I start planning and working on it.

So from now on I'll be using SIAMESE STUDIO as my design name.

I've already got a new blog for the new name and here is the address; http://siamese-studio.blogspot.com. Please bookmark this new blog to recieve the latest news from me. I will keep this blog as my personal blog though.

The change will start first at my Digital Scrap Ink shop, then Digital Scrapbooking Studio and Digiridoo Scraps will be next.

I've also got a new kit released under my new design name. So if you want to see it just go straight to my new blog.

Most of you might already know what is Project 365 0r week 52, but if you don't. Here's a short description.

Project 365 aims to collect photos documenting one year of your life.

So I've got an idea! Why don't I make a project 365 kit myself, but I prefer to call my project 'week 52' rather than project 365 because I've planned to release a mini-kit every week. The color swatch will change every month, so by the end of the month you'll get one full kit.
